In my lifetime the majority of it I have spent at a racetrack. I first got my jockey license in 1981 at 16 years old. In my 45 years of experience as a jockey I have ridden horses in many different states including: Oklahoma, Nebraska, Florida, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Minnesota, Louisiana, and many more. EQUIBASE only goes back to 1989 but it shows I have ridden 1,641 quarter horses, 270 thoroughbreds, and 18 mix races, without the 8 years of experience before then.
