Seeking Steward Position

Seeking a part time or permanent Steward position.

I'm a 2016 Univ of KY, Louisville steward's school graduate.

I started my career in the horse industry at age 19 in Oregon. I was licensed as a groom and pony rider in both Oregon and Washington. In California I became an assistant trainer as well.

I've also been a veterinary assistant, paymaster assistant, horse identifier assistant. I have galloped and broken babies. I've been an videographer, photographer and production assistant in the TV departments. Hauling horses, bookkeeping, all the duties that a horsewoman performs.

I am passionate about horse racing! I am eager to be involved at the top level of horse racing by exercising my knowledge and experience, and with willingness to learn more. I'm deeply concerned about the ongoing public perception of the negativity of horse racing and expect to be transparent, while educational.

Currently I'm employed with the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission for the past 10 years, and have been a Licensing Assistant II for seven years. I work closely with the stewards and law enforcement agency in processing and investigation of applications.
