6. Letters of Reference:
Horse Applicants - Enclose two (2) letters of reference, which must be from a racing commissioner, commission executive or steward, race track general manager or director of racing.
Greyhound Applicants - Applicants currently employed as a steward/judge need only submit one letter of recommendation from their current employer. All other applicants must submit two (2) letters of reference which must be from a racing commissioner, commission executive race track general manager or director of racing.

7. Release of Liability:
As express condition of participation in this Steward’s Accreditation Program, the undersigned hereby acknowledges that he/she assumes all risks inherent in the Program, including, but not limited to, possible adverse result for failure to receive accreditation, and all liability to third parties in the undersigned’s capacity as a track official, and hereby, jointly and severally, releases and discharges the American Quarter Horse Association, Association of Racing Commissioners International, The University of Arizona, Thoroughbred Racing Associations, The Jockey Club and all other organizations participating in presenting of the RCI Stewards Accreditation Program, their officers, employees, representatives and all others participating in the Program, from any and all such liability, whenever or however arising, including but not limited to personal injury and property damage to or alleged to be caused by the undersigned.
